Together for a better future!
Shaping Tasmania
I proudly served my country 37 years ago and have lived by the Rifleman’s motto, Duty First, ever since. My career in the ADF, small business, and as an inquiry agent has shown me how government really works—and why we need leaders who speak truth to power. I’ve spent 17 years in Braddon, volunteering and advocating for outcomes over politics. I believe in straight talk, long-term thinking, and putting community first. Tasmania has the potential to lead the nation—we just need the conviction and collaboration to make it happen. If elected, I’ll work every day to bring people together and deliver real, lasting change for our state.

I will make a difference!
Financial Responsibility:
All major state government contracts must be reviewed within one week of Parliament sitting! Responsible use of our money is in the public interest. No more mates’ rates or back-scratching contracts for party insiders!
Homelessness:
I will ensure that every Tasmanian has a roof over their head at night. This is deeply personal to me — where there’s a will, there’s a way.
Road Quality:
We need low-maintenance concrete roads. No more lipstick solutions! Filling potholes over and over is not a real fix.
Macquarie Point Stadium:
We can’t afford this as it stands — it must be renegotiated. A public-private partnership is needed to get it off the ground.

I took an oath when I joined the Australian Defence Force 37 years ago, and that oath—along with the Rifleman’s motto, “Duty First”—has guided my values ever since. My service in the ADF taught me discipline and integrity. Since then, I’ve built several successful small businesses and spent 30 years working as an inquiry agent. That work gave me a firsthand look at how our state and country really operate. It also made clear the need for elected leaders who are courageous enough to speak truth to power.
It would be a great honour to give back to the Braddon community, which has given me so much over the past two decades. Tasmanians deserve better—better roads, hospitals, schools, public transport, and public services. I believe Tasmania can and should lead the way among Australian states. We have the resources, the talent, and the capability to do so. But we need long-term planning, driven by conviction and guided by continuous assessment, to ensure our efforts are effective and fit for purpose—serving all Tasmanians, both now and in the future.
We’ve done it before with the Hydro Scheme, and we can do it again—if we move beyond petty, partisan politics. When politicians focus on real issues rather than political point-scoring, Tasmania is stronger for it.
From 2010 to 2012, I was proud to serve on the Tasmanian Veterans Advisory Council, working across party lines to achieve real outcomes. I’ve also volunteered in leadership roles across several community organisations. Throughout, I’ve always prioritised outcomes over politics.
If elected, I will work tirelessly to bring the right people to the table—people who are ready to have honest, robust discussions and who are committed to delivering practical, commonsense solutions through consensus.
